Artist's Comments

A poetry and photography piece.

This picture is dedicated to Sarah (in the white) I think this piece speaks as to why.
I realized that we have never been in a shoot together, so this is a special piece to me.
No part of this is manipulated, we went out in those clothes while it was snowing and it was the most painfully freezing experience.
Without shoes we had to dig our feet in under the snow and every 5 minutes we would have to run and stand on a coat.
But it was definitely worth it.
Many thanks to Sarah and to ~MistaMisery for helping us out.

Save The Last Dance For The End Of The World

The terminal recoil
Glass ballerinas silently turning,
slowly for their closing preformance
in the sick of the world.
On the edge of the waters of a river no one has ever known
Allow the familiarity to bleed in
Let your final prayer float towards sempiternity.
Defend this immaculate, temporal beauty
As it shall crumble to the beat of humanity.

The butchers are out tonight
sleek knives in hand
as the silent music continues
running rhythms through the trees.
A depredated soul moves in unison with her ghost
to the symphony of oblivion.
With sugar perfumed breath
The emaciated walls of her chest
move to the beat of a pale heart.

To these scribed walls she tells her fears
They deteriorate infront of her face.
The sky is falling
Sharp shards of snow
shatter at her feet
Tredding on glass was never so fine, never so pure
To spill your own blood has become hallowed,
A sweetend chore on the walk to infinity.

Desperate in this body
Cling to my fatigue
And together
We will save this last dance
For the end of the world.

This is the internet. If you don't like something that is said to you or someone else, do us all a favor and ignore it. If you fail to ignore it, then get over it as quick as possible. Drama is unneeded on the internet.

your writing is so beautiful, you create such incredible imagery with your words. and that picture is just as beautiful, it looks so pure with so much white and some black, but the water looks kind of red, it gives it kind of a eerie look, makes the image fit the poetry very well :D

i love this. i love the use of black and white dresses. and i love the fact that, even though you had to suffer to take this picture, that neither of you are wearing shoes. it adds such a better affect.
